Invitation to Apply for the EMPOWER PhotoVoice Grant!
We are pleased to invite elementary, middle and high schools to apply for a program grant of up to $10,000. This grant is part of the Study of Adolescent Lives after Migration to America (SALaMA), a project led by Washington University in St. Louis and Qatar Foundation International (QFI). The program grant will support implementation of EMPOWER , a PhotoVoice program developed as part of the SALaMA project. The goal of this initiative is to empower Arabic-speaking adolescents to share their lived experiences and perspectives through photography, group discussions, and personal reflections. The schools selected will implement 7-8 PhotoVoice sessions throughout the semester to empower students to explore their relationship with the themes of identity, belonging, well-being, and language and culture.
